G.I.D.I.Y. specializes in the distribution, technical support and service of measurement, test equipment and systems. Supplying state-of-the-art RF/microwave test instruments, components and systems, as well as RF/EMI components and test instruments, G.I.D.I.Y. focuses on professional applications in the wireless, general electronics markets.

G.I.D.I.Y. will promote, sell and support precisionWave’s innovative line of low cost, high performance RF test instruments. The appointment positions precisionWave for leadership responsiveness and local support to the company’s customers in Israel.

precisionWave’s recent innovations in RF Vector Signal Generators have broken new ground in response to customer pleas for lower cost instrumentation with the performance and features truly needed for their applications. precisionWave’s new p1511A RF Vector Signal Generator, for example, is priced at only $11,500 (US). It has all the features and performance needed for cellular R&D and manufacturing applications, and is an attractive alternative for customers historically forced to buy more instrument than they can use, just to get the features they need.

The p1511A RF Vector Signal Generator’s specs stand impressively against competitive instruments costing several times more:

EDGE avg. RMS EVM is typically less than 0.8%

GSM phase error is typically below 0.6°

Power output ranges from -100 dBm to +20 dBm.

Harmonic suppression is better than -40 dBc @ +13 dBm.

Spurious is less than -80 dBc.

1 GHz CW phase noise is better than -100 dBc/Hz @ 20 kHz offset.
